Twinkle Twinkle, Nothern Lights! – In Love With Shlomit Ofir’s 2014 Collection
Remember when I introduced my favorite Israeli jewelry designer’s previous “Tiny Collection“? As it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas (and Chanuka) the brand new set of jewels is out, and this time Shlomit Ofir takes a trip to the cold Scandinavian countries. Wanna take a sleigh-ride with her?
This season Shlomit took inspiration from Scandinavian scenery, culture and first and foremost – Scandinavian design. The stunning collection is rich in materials yet neatly designed with fine lines.
Just take a look at these gorgeous items, made of high quality 24K gold or silver plating over brass base. The formica and wood veneer of the earrings are also not to be left unnoticed!
Within the collection you will find a series inspired by the Northern Lights, a series of pieces portraying a row of small houses, snow covered mountains, bicycles and a wide array of geometric pieces, with clean and trendy lines.
Nature calls: in this collection Shlomit incorporates metal elements with natural materials that are characteristic to Scandinavian design. As usually, her shop windows also reflect the influence of the new artistic direction.
