Walking in a Fashion Wonderland
Today I grabbed a good friend on the hand and we hit the most exciting fashion market of the season. Check out our favorite designers at the T:Market, get to know more about the participating brands and labels, and imagine walking by the counters with a crispy cold glass of beer in your hand. That’s how we did it!
These t-shirts patched with realistic dogie portraits were on my favorite list even before I visited the fair. The guys at The Mountain are also loving cats, polar bears, and other unidentified animals – and by 2014 they will be able to cover your tee with your own pet’s photo.
My next stop was at Bumpers, where all flip-flops are coming in cool, unusual colors. The cherry on the top is that they also massage your feet while walking with them! Wellness and fashion in one – who needs fancy shoes when you can wear these!
We arrived to my favorite counter: D.Panda by Danel Greenblo. The designer is almost as crazy for Madonna as me – no surprise I ended up buyung a shirt from him. My friend (who’s name happens to be Norma) got herself a Norma Jean aka Marilyn Monroe tee. It’s not often that we see a diva wearing moustache!
Our next station was Psylo – a brand offering kinda pseudo-punk-military stuff, with a sexy twist. They first started to sell the items at trance parties and music festivals and by now they have a huge store in Camden town, the most bohemian multicultural district of London.
I fell in love all over again with the Lilla My jewelries. We share some common interests with the designer: we both love the Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, and the Little Prince. Oh, and the color pink!
Being at the fair seemed like spending a day with partying surrounded by the coolest people from Tel Aviv, in a venue which is decorated by the most talented designers of Israel. The non-stop pumping music, the chilled drinks and the sunny weather put everyone right in the mood to return next time.
Kabbalists say throughout the holiday of Suckot we all have the chance to plant spiritual seeds for our upcoming year – so the best way to celebrate is to support Make-A-Wish Israel , a foundation that helps seriously ill children’s special wishes come true! These unique phone panels were sold at T:Market for supporting the cause, and as a pre-sale boost last week the organizers gave away a few pieces to Israeli celebrities and bloggers to make some buzz on Instagram. Check out #makeawishisrael hash-tag to see all the participators.
