Tiny Collection, Big Heart! – Store opening party on Shenkin with Shlomit Ofir

Tel Avivian designer Shlomit Ofir invited her dear friends, faithful costumers, and some fashion bloggers to visit her brand new store at Shenkin street. The event was also the launch party of her latest “Tiny Collection“. The menu was joyful music, sparkling refreshments, and of course fashion in it’s best.

The young designer earned her degree in Industrial Design, but her true love is creating jewelry and accessories. With her art she is creating “snapshots” of our everyday lives: a little bird on a branch, blooming buds, shining stars, and more.  The cute and sexy jewels are  made of gold and silver, decorated with pearls and semi-precious, natural stones.

Her jewelery became known and loved in Israel and abroad as well, but the international success wasn’t quite enough for Shlomit. Two years ago she began designing her own clothing line, shoes and handbags, but the basics of the items are arriving from different countries – when she spots a nice design, she buys it, so she can add her unique finishing. This is why her apparel collection is labeled as “details by Shlomit Ofir”.

The fresh collection is so versatile and modest, that even a guy could wear a few of the new designs. The line contains a series of nine tiny pendants in the shape of a deer head, a whale, love hearts, geometric shapes, and cherry blossom – referring to recently published collection, inspired by Japanese culture.

The new store – designed by Shlomit herself – gives the impression of a warm and stylish home’s cozy living room. The furniture are from the old flea market in Jaffa, and it’s a perfect match with the walnut flooring and aquamarine wallpaper. The beautiful studio is at 35 Sheinkin Street, Tel Aviv. Hurry, ‘cos the winter collection is now 50% off!
